Two airlines ease policies related to ticket changes

US Airways has introduced a "peace of mind" policy to ease concerns about making airline reservations during this period of political unrest.

In the event of military action or the issuance by the U.S. Homeland Security Department of a Code Red terror alert, the airline will allow customers to make changes to previously booked travel itineraries without incurring the standard fees.

Continental Airlines will allow customers purchasing trans-Atlantic travel tickets through March 31 to make certain changes without incurring administrative service charges.

Changes may be made to nonrefundable, published-fare and restricted tickets through May 31.

Tips offered to avoid delays while traveling

Check-cashing services to be available at airport

The Travelex Business Services Center at Pier C at BWI will offer check-cashing services to airline passengers and airport employees starting today.
