Blast rookie P.J. Wakefield has been added to the Major Indoor Soccer League's Eastern Conference All-Star team.

The Baltimore native, a replacement for injured Philadelphia KiXX midifelder Joel Shanker, will join teammates Sean Bowers and Denison Cabral in representing the Blast in Sunday's All-Star Game in Milwaukee.

Wakefield is second on the team in scoring with 55 points, just three points behind Cabral.

Also, Blast forward Tarik Walker was named the league's Offensive Player of the Week after scoring 12 points in three wins - including a season-high six points in a 15-10 victory over the Harrisburg Heat on Saturday.
