HOWARD CRIME REPORT

The crime report is a sampling of crimes in Howard County compiled from police. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-313-3700.

East Columbia

Cloudleap Court: 8700 block, Long Reach. A man was walking near the Long Reach Village Center on Friday when three men approached him and threatened to shoot him. The men did not display a gun, but they assaulted the victim, who did not have any money. The assailants fled on foot.

Guilford Road: 10800 block, Kings Contrivance. Someone stole about $7,800 worth of computer and stereo equipment from a home Sunday.

West Columbia

Wincopin Circle: 10200 block, Town Center. Two men entered Copelands Restaurant about 1:30 a.m. Saturday and threatened a cleaning woman with a revolver. The woman was taken to the manager's office, where the men took an undisclosed amount of cash. Mall employees called police, who arrested Nathan Thomas Hicks of the 5400 block of Eliotts Oak Ridge in Hickory Ridge and Derris Travale Moore, of no known address, after a short foot chase.

Little Patuxent Parkway: 10700 block, Hickory Ridge. Someone broke into a Firestone Tire & Service Center on Feb. 24 or 25 and stole a television.

Ellicott City/Elkridge

Old Columbia Pike: 3900 block, Ellicott City. Someone stole about $800 from a construction site between Feb. 26 and Friday.

N. Laurel/Savage/Jessup

Washington Blvd.: 10100 block, North Laurel. Someone broke into an All Tune & Lube on Thursday but did not steal anything.
