Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Arrests: Police stopped a 1991 Oldsmobile in the 300 block of N. Fulton Ave. about 3 a.m. Friday, arresting its two passengers and charging the driver with operating a hack - an unlicensed cab. The passengers - Anthony Williams, 18, of the 1300 block of Stockton St. and a 15-year-old girl - were charged with illegal possession of a handgun and obtaining an illegal cab. The gun was a .40-caliber semiautomatic that was reported stolen last year from a house in Charleston, W.Va. The driver, Patrick Akimwale, 55, whose address was not available, was given a ticket on his charge.

Armed carjacking: A woman, 54, was making a U-turn about 12:20 p.m. Thursday in the 2000 block of Liberty Heights Ave. when a woman forced her way into the 1992 Dodge Caravan, shoved the driver out at gunpoint and drove off with the vehicle. It had tags 150374M.

Stolen vehicle: A four-door 1988 Lincoln Continental with tags KDF 468 was stolen in the 1700 block of Frederick Ave. sometime Friday night or early Saturday.

Southern District

Stolen vehicle: Someone stole a tan 1994 Chevrolet Lumina with tags 864 BJV on Saturday when it was parked with the keys in the ignition in the 3600 block of Potee St.

Stolen vehicle: A white 2001 Dodge Stratus with tags LDR 639 was taken Saturday from the 1300 block of Ostend St.

Theft: Police were seeking a man known as "Joe-Joe" in connection with the theft Saturday of jewelry valued at $1,600 from a house in the 1300 block of Cambria St.

Southeastern District

Robbery: About 10:15 a.m. Saturday, a man implying that he was armed robbed Ann's grocery in the 100 block of S. Ann St. of more than $200.

Robbery: A man, 39, was walking in the 6200 block of Boston St. about 9 p.m. Saturday when he was robbed of his watch, a cell phone and $19 by a man who implied that he had a gun.

Northeastern District

Robbery: An 81-year-old man was walking in the 3600 block of Yolando Road about 4:15 a.m. Saturday when another man robbed him of $150.

Stolen vehicle: A gray four-door 1994 Plymouth Acclaim with tags HMY 411 was stolen Saturday in the 3200 block of Lawnview Ave.

Arson: Someone set fire to a 1997 Acura parked in the 5900 block of Radecke Ave. about 5:30 a.m. Saturday, destroying the $12,000 car.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Burglary: Several DVDs and video games - all valued at $300 - were stolen Saturday from a house in the 800 block of Briar Hill Place.

Theft: Between Feb. 19 and Saturday, someone stole a small boat valued at $300 from the side of a house in the 100 block of Wildwood Beach Road.
