Service center to offer seminar on sales techniques

The Sales and Service Center at Arundel Mills will offer a training seminar titled "Sales and Service Refresher" this month.

Topics for the four-session seminar, which will feature classroom and self-paced activities, include greeting techniques, product knowledgeability, determining customer needs, building the sale and handling complaints.

Classes will meet from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays, tomorrow to March 25 and from May 6 to 27. Courses also will be offered Wednesdays April 9 to 30. The instructor is Maria Huguley. Continuing education units are awarded for completing the class.

The Sales and Service Center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Information: 410- 799-9099.

Severn Graphics seeks business in Harford

Severn Graphics, a Glen Burnie-based photo lab firm, has announced a plan to market itself in Harford County.

Severn Graphics, a provider of large-format trade show graphics, will market photographic, digital output and trade show product lines to creative agencies, government offices and photographers.

Lisa Gaskill, a 15-year photo-industry veteran, will head the effort.

"Photographers there already know us and many are looking to our digital capacities to help them grow," Gaskill said.

ToadNet Inc. acquires ISP Radicus Internet

ToadNet Inc., one of the Maryland's largest privately owned Internet service providers, has acquired Baltimore-based Radicus Internet LLC.

Radicus Internet's 1,300 business and residential customers will be added to ToadNet's 29,000 customers.

ToadNet Inc. is based in Severna Park.
