Baltimore City

Southwestern District

Shootings: Two men were standing in the 4700 block of Frederick Ave. about 5 p.m. yesterday when shots fired from a passing car hit one in the left arm, the other in the right arm and shoulder.

Southern District

Shooting/arrest: Police charged Simeon Ainsworth, 21, of the 3800 block of Pascal Ave. with attempted murder yesterday in the shooting of his 19-year-old girlfriend during an argument in their apartment Tuesday night.

Baltimore County

Garrison Precinct

Bank robbery: A man who implied he had a handgun robbed Provident Bank in the 8600 block of Liberty Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Jewelry, cash and clothing -- all valued at $890 -- were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 2300 block of Tarleton Lane.
