SUSAN McLAUGHLIN SCOTT, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2002, after a fearless and courageous battle with cancer. She was truly an inspiration to all who knew her. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, May 6, 1951, she spent much of her adult life in Ocean City, MD. Since 1988 she and her husband Frank spent the winter months in Fort Myers, Florida. Susan loved golf and was a member of Fiddlesticks Country Club of Forte Myers, as well as Ocean City Golf Club, Chartwell Country Club and the Beach Club Golf Links, all in Maryland. She is survived by Frank her husband of 10 years, her parents, Anona and Bowman McLaughlin; her sister Barbara David and her brother Dr. Bowman McLaughlin. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, Dan David and a sister-in-law, Adrienne McLaughlin. In addition, she is survived by her nieces Erin Tracht, Brenda McLaughlin and her nephews, Michael Tracht, Edward McLaughlin and Maxwell McLaughlin, all of Sarasota, Florida. She is also survived by her step-children Barbara Schurman (Charles), F. James Scott, Jr., Stephen R. Scott (Melissa); her step-grandchildren, Andrea Schurman, Ashley Schurman, F. James Scott III, Kevin Scott, Stephen R. Scott, Jr. and Brittany Scott all of Maryland. She also leaves behind her aunts, June McLaughlin and Marlene Doyle; her uncles, Ray McLaughlin, Edward Doyle and Millard Doyle, as well as 16 cousins all of Maryland. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 100th Street and Coastal Highway, Ocean City, Maryland. A celebration of Susan's life will be held at Antipasti Ristorante, 33rd Street and Coastal Highway, Ocean City, Maryland, immediately following the MemorialService.
