Marian D. Caton, a retired nurse, died Tuesday of complications from cancer at her Rodgers Forge home. She was 75.
Born Marian Dee in Annapolis, she was a 1945 graduate of St. Mary's High School. She earned a degree in nursing from Woman's Hospital of Maryland in Bolton Hill, where she worked as an operating room nurse in the 1940s and 1950s. She later was a nurse at convalescent homes.
In 1959, she married William L. Caton Jr., a Pennsylvania Railroad engineer and World War II veteran, who died in 1984.
