Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northeastern District

Officer suspended: Officer Robert A. Jones, 33, of the Western District has been suspended from duty after being charged with assaulting his girlfriend Monday in her apartment in the 5200 block of Moravia Road, and pointing his service weapon at a man he found there.

Southwestern District

Burglary: Tools and an air-conditioner were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 3500 block of W. Caton Ave.

Northern District

Burglary: A laptop computer and a cordless phone were taken Wednesday from a house in the 800 block of E. Belvedere Ave.

Southeastern District

Robbery: A man with red sores on his nose robbed Little Tavern in the 3500 block of Eastern Ave. of more than $100 at knifepoint about 2 a.m. Wednesday.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Stolen vehicle: A motorist left his keys in the ignition and was paying for fuel at a gas station in the 6900 block of Loch Raven Blvd. on Wednesday when a man drove off in his green 1999 Toyota Avalon with tags CBD 948.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: A 400cc yellow 1999 Honda all-terrain vehicle valued at $6,000 was stolen Wednesday from a shed in the 7300 block of Brightside Ave.

North Point Precinct

Theft/arrest: A 28-year-old Brooklyn man was arrested Wednesday when he tried to leave JC Penney at Eastpoint Mall without paying for four electric toothbrushes.
