Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southwestern District

Carjacking: A man, 48, was robbed of his keys and his white, four-door 1999 Chrysler with tags LAL 616 about 5:40 p.m. Monday in the 1700 block of Bloomingdale Road by a man armed with an unknown weapon.

Southern District

Burglary: Someone entered Washington Village-Pigtown Neighborhood Planning Council in the 700 block of Washington Blvd. on Monday and stole $500 cash and $500 in bus tokens.

Southeastern District

Robbery: A woman, 34, was walking in the 2700 block of E. Fayette St. about 2 p.m. Monday when a man grabbed her around the neck and robbed her of $500 cash and a state income tax refund check for $400.

Northeastern District

Burglary: Someone entered Papa John's Pizza in the 5200 block of Harford Road through a door Sunday and removed more than $1,000 from a safe.

Baltimore County

North Point Precinct

Theft/arrest: A woman was arrested Monday when she tried to leave J.C. Penney at Eastpoint Mall without paying for clothing valued at more than $600. Charged with theft was Nicole Matthews, 23, of the 6800 block of Boston Ave.

Parkville Precinct

Stolen vehicle: A 2000 Nissan Maxima with tags HGX 774 was stolen Monday in the 9000 block of Waltham Woods Road.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: A DVD player was stolen Sunday from a house in the 3900 block of McDonogh Road by someone who entered through the front door.
