RICHARD ANTHONY NUTH, Sr., 71, of Ocean City, died Monday, February 10, 2003, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late John Bernhardt Nuth and Rose Schindler Nuth. Mr. Nuth was a US Army veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. He was in the banking business for 24 years, retiring in 1988. He was past commodore of the Baltimore Yacht Club. Boating and golfing were two of his favorite past times. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Barbara T. Nuth of Ocean City; two children, Richard A. Nuth, Jr. and his wife, Cheryl of Baltimore and Karen N. Arnold and her husband, Jeff of Westminster; two grandchildren, Andrew Nuth and Alexander Nuth and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. at Lassahn Funeral Home, 11750 Belair Road, Kingsville, Maryland. Friends may call Thursday, February 13, 2003 from 7 P.M. to 9 PM at Lassahn Funeral Home. The inurnment will be held at High View Cemetery in Fallston, Maryland with military honors. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, Virginia 23058 and/or American Diabetes Association, 3120 Timanus Lane, Suite 106, Baltimore, Maryland 21244.
