Local writer to discuss works today at Villa Julie
STEVENSON -- Author Rafael Alvarez will visit Villa Julie College today to speak about his career.
Alvarez, a Baltimore native who worked as a reporter for The Sun for many years, has written several books including Storyteller, Hometown Boy, The Fountain of Highlandtown and Orlo and Leini. He is a staff writer for the HBO series The Wire.
