Harford Community College to offer agri-tourism course

Harford Community College's Continuing Education and Training Division will hold a one-session course on agri-tourism from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday in Edgewood Hall on the HCC campus.

The course is designed for the small farmer who would like to try creative ideas for using farm products to attract tourists and to bring in additional revenue. Discussions will include how enterprises such as petting demonstrations, gourd production and corn mazes have paid off and brainstorming ways that products or property can increase cash flow.

Students may register by mail or fax using the form included in the Schedule of Noncredit Classes. Registration can also be done in person at the Office of Noncredit Registration, Edgewood Hall, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow through Thursday; from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.
