New Homes

February 09, 2003|By Adele Evans

Ground has been broken at Maryland Landmark Homes' new single-family home community, Batterbrook, in southern Perry Hall.

Maryland Landmark is taking sales reservations for the homes, which are designed in a variety of traditional styles with a choice of facades.

Standard features include upgraded appliances, drywalled garages, window moldings, hardwood foyers, ceramic-tiled bathrooms, all-wood construction and upgraded lighting and trim styles. Some models include a first-floor library.

Batterbrook homes, priced from mid-$200,000 to the low $300,000s, offer plenty of standard amenities and are surrounded by acres of forest.

Options include additional upgrades of appliances, bathrooms and kitchens. Finished basements and fireplaces are other options.

The eventual 35 houses will offer gas water heaters, and will have gas furnaces. All of these homes have four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. One model offers an optional fifth bedroom.

To reach Batterbrook, take Interstate 695 to the Bel Air Road exit and head north. Make a right at Rossville Boulevard and drive to the yellow Batterbrook sign, which will be on your right.
