A look back

The Terps continued their recent mastery of North Carolina State, defeating the Wolfpack for the 22nd time in the past 26 meetings, 75-60 on Jan. 30, then scored the game's first 14 points before cruising to an 85-58 victory over Loyola on Sunday.

A look ahead

Maryland begins a stretch of three road games in four dates, starting with visits to Georgia Tech on Sunday and Florida State on Wednesday. The Terps return home to face Wake Forest on Feb. 16 before a Feb. 19 date at Duke.

Worth watching

Senior guard Drew Nicholas continues to draw fouls by going aggressively to the basket. He ranks fourth in the league in free-throw percentage (.862), going 75-for-87. He shot .803 as a backup last season (53-for-66).
