Laurel teen identified as driver hurt in crash

Howard County police identified yesterday the driver of a stolen car who has been unconscious since he crashed Sunday in North Laurel.

Dion Richardson, 16, of the 14700 block of Bowie Road in Laurel, Prince George's County, crashed a 1989 Toyota Camry about 8 p.m. Sunday on Old Scaggsville Road. The car was reported stolen Saturday, police said.

Richardson was flown to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. Police were unable to find any identification on him or in the car. A family member identified Richardson yesterday, police said.
