Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Burglary/arrest: A 43-year-old man was arrested after being caught in the West Baltimore home of a city police officer. About 4 a.m. Monday, Detective Ronald Willis of the headquarters' Criminal Investigation Division was awakened by a noise. Willis, carrying his gun, encountered the man near the bedroom and ordered him to the floor, where he handcuffed him and called police. The suspect's name was not available.

Shooting: Jamie Bull, 25, was walking in the 1800 block of Westwood Ave. about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday when a gunman shot him in the back and a leg. Bull was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Northwestern District

Shooting: A 17-year-old man walking in the 3500 block of Garrison Blvd. was shot in the right elbow about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday by another man who first exclaimed, "Now I got you!" The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital.

Eastern District

Shooting: Police were seeking two men in the shooting Monday night of a man, 22, in the 1800 block of N. Washington St. Wounded in the leg and stomach, the victim was admitted to Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Southern District

Stolen vehicle: Someone stole a white 1993 Ford Taurus with tags JJA 096 that was parked outside a convenience store in the 1400 block of Key Highway on Monday.

Southeastern District

Robbery: A gunman robbed Members First Credit Union in the 500 block of Dundalk Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money about 9:15 a.m. Tuesday.

Burglary: Skis, snowboards, golf clubs, stereo equipment, a mountain bicycle and furniture -- all valued at $3,000 -- were stolen from a house in the 1000 block of S. Robinson St. between Jan. 29 and Sunday. The burglary was reported Tuesday.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn Precinct

Carjacking try/arrests: Police arrested two young men and were seeking two more in an attempted armed carjacking at a gas station in the 7000 block of Liberty Road about 5:30 p.m. Monday. The two suspects were captured in woods nearby.

Cockeysville Precinct

Robbery: Irvin Austin, a self-employed jeweler, reported that he was entering his room at Red Roof Inn in the 100 block of W. Timonium Road about 6:15 p.m. Monday when three men threw him to the floor, gagged and bound him with socks, and robbed him of jewelry valued at more than $3,400. The men also stole Austin's 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix with Pennsylvania tags PZL 513K, he said.

Robbery: A gunman robbed the 7-Eleven in the 14200 block of Jarrettsville Pike of $40 and cartons of cigarettes valued at more than $600 about 4 a.m. Tuesday.

Wilkens Precinct

Robbery: A woman, 64, was walking in the 1000 block of Maiden Choice Lane about 3 p.m. Tuesday when a man stole her purse after dragging her on the ground for several feet.

North Point Precinct

Burglary: A .22-caliber Ruger handgun, .45 Colt pistol and Smith & Wesson .357 handgun -- all valued at nearly $2,000 -- were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1900 block of August Ave.
