New Positions Gage appoints Gomer director of merchandising

Gage Menswear appointed Ross Gomer director of merchandising for the Baltimore-based clothing retailer. He is a buyer and oversees interior merchandising and displays for the company's Baltimore and Owings Mills locations. Formerly a manager with The Mens & Boys Store, Gomer attended the University of Pittsburgh and Temple University.

Farrell, Kovach join Cyphers Agency

The Cyphers Agency named Melissa Farrell and Melisa Kovach to the staff as account executives at the Annapolis advertising and public relations firm.

Farrell is a graduate of McDaniel College and received her master's degree from American University. She supervises the development of integrated public relations plans. She was previously with Crosby Marketing Communications.

Kovach manages and does strategic planning for a wide range of agency advertising clients. Formerly with Gray, Kirk/VanSant, she is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and received her M.B.A. from Wake Forest University.


Campanaro, Collins Provident vice presidents

Provident Bank appointed Gregory J. Campanaro and Michael Collins as vice presidents at the Baltimore-based regional bank.

Campanaro is in the commercial real estate lending division. A graduate of Loyola College, the Timonium resident had been chief financial officer with the Creaney & Smith Group.

Collins is manager of the security department and responsible for internal and external investigations as well as corporate, branch and physical security. Formerly security manager for Bank of America, the Bel Air resident is a graduate of Frostburg State University.


Nadler is shareholder, Moran counsel at Shulman

Shulman, Rogers, Gandal, Pordy & Ecker named Simon M. Nadler a shareholder and Deborah L. Moran as of counsel in the Rockville-based law firm.

Nadler, a law graduate of George Washington University, is in the firm's corporate department. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, angel investors and venture capital financing.

Moran, formerly a law clerk at the Maryland Court of Special Appeals, is a law graduate of Georgetown University and is in the commercial litigation department.
