Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Theft/arrest: An off-duty police officer pursued and caught a man suspected of stealing $600 from Eddie's Lunch in the 1100 block of Hollins St. on Saturday afternoon. Charged with theft was Clayton Blue, 36, of the 1200 block of W. Mulberry St. The money was recovered.

Burglary: While the occupants of a house in the 4200 block of Sixth St. were on vacation between Jan. 25 and Feb. 1, someone broke into their home and stole two large jugs containing at least $500.

Northeastern District

Burglary: Several pieces of jewelry and a CD player -- all valued at more than $7,000 -- were stolen Saturday from a house in the 4200 block of Powell Ave.

Burglary: A VCR, medication and a voucher for $315 were stolen over the weekend from a house in the 2900 block of E. Northern Parkway.

Western District

Stabbing: A man, 38, was trying to prevent two men from entering his car at Mondawmin Mall about 6 p.m. Saturday when one of them stabbed him several times with a knife. The victim drove home before he was taken by ambulance to Sinai Hospital.

Southeastern District

Robbery/cutting: A man, 58, was walking in the 6600 block of Holabird Ave. about 8 p.m. Saturday when he stopped to talk to two women. One of them struck him on the left hand with a broken bottle while the other robbed him of $40.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Robbery/arrest: Two males and a female were standing outside a house in the 1600 block of Wentworth Ave. about 12:15 a.m. Saturday when a man they recognized pulled a handgun and robbed them of a jacket, a cellular phone and money. A short time later, police entered a house in the 3600 block of Erdman Ave., arrested resident Kirk Hall, 20, and charged him with armed robbery. He was being held on $250,000 bail.

White Marsh Precinct

Drug arrests: Responding to a manager's report early Saturday of suspected drug activity in a room at the Regal Motel in the 8000 block of Pulaski Highway, police arrested two men and a woman on drug possession charges and seized marijuana.
