McCormick names Wilson U.S. division president

McCormick & Co. Inc. named Alan D. Wilson president of its U.S. consumer products division. He most recently was the division's vice president and general manager for sales and marketing. Before joining the Sparks-based spice and flavors company, he was in product supply at Procter & Gamble Co. The Cockeysville resident graduated from the University of Tennessee and served as an officer in the Army.

McWhorter joins MGH as assistant team leader

MGH, the Owings Mills ad, design and public relations agency and consulting firm, named Amy McWhorter to the staff as an assistant account team leader. She will handle daily affairs, brand and product awareness, and strategic marketing for clients. Formerly an account manager with Young & Rubicam, the Millersville resident graduated from Davidson College.

Mercantile appoints Sands, Schwing vice presidents

Mercantile-Safe Deposit & Trust Co. appointed Anita M. Sands and David J. Schwing vice presidents for the Baltimore bank.

Sands, assigned to the investment portfolio and money market services section, is responsible for the portfolio management of affiliate banks, investor and jumbo certificates of deposit, and customer safekeeping. A graduate of the University of Colorado, she is also active with the Women's Ministry.

Schwing, a graduate of Mount Saint Mary's College, is with the small business and professional banking group and is responsible for business development in Baltimore, Baltimore County and portions of Howard and Anne Arundel counties.

White is vice president at Corbyn Investment

Lutherville-based Corbyn Investment Management Inc. hired Bill White as vice president of client development. Additionally, White will develop and oversee marketing initiatives for the Greenspring Fund, the firm's value-oriented no-load mutual fund. White has more than 15 years of sales and marketing experience and holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Washington and Lee University.

Health Care

Kaiser names Moriarty an executive director

Kaiser Permanente of the Mid-Atlantic States named Dr. Susan Moriarty executive director of its Columbia Gateway medical center.

She is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine. Moriarty received her medical degree from the University of Virginia and completed her residency at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center.

Before joining Kaiser Permanente, she was a contract attending physician at the Canberra Hospital in Canberra, Australia.
