HOWARD CRIME REPORT

The crime report is a sampling of crimes in Howard County compiled from police. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-313-3700.

East Columbia

Rainprint Row: 6300 block, Long Reach. Someone stole a video camera, DVDs and CDs from a home Friday.

Cradlerock Way: 7200 block, Owen Brown. Two men armed with a handgun stole an undetermined amount of money from a McDonald's restaurant Jan. 15.

Stevens Forest Road: 5800 block, Oakland Mills. A man getting out of his car was assaulted by eight to 10 men Jan. 15. The suspects fled.

Stevens Forest Road and Broken Land Parkway: Oakland Mills. A man armed with a handgun robbed a cabdriver of cash Thursday. The robber fled on foot from Stevens Forest Road.

West Columbia

Trotting Ridge Way: 10900 block, Hickory Ridge. A youth wearing a navy blue, hooded sweat shirt stole cash from a home Monday and struggled briefly with the resident.

Mad River Lane: 5400 block, Harper's Choice. Jewelry and a CD player were stolen from a home Thursday.

Ellicott City/Elkridge

Euclid Ave.: 6300 block, Elkridge. Someone stole cash from a home Friday.

Baltimore National Pike: 8500 block, Ellicott City. Two car stereo systems and a van were stolen from the Miller Brothers Chevrolet, Oldsmobile & Ford dealership on Saturday.

N. Laurel/Savage/Jessup

River Island Drive: 8900 block, Savage. Cash, compact discs and a credit card were stolen from a home Monday.
