On January 18, 2003 DELORES TINKLER, 60, of Baltimore, MD passed away after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Joseph W. Tinkler; mother of Kay A. Stuart-Simmons, JoAnn M. Tinkler and Muriel S. Tinkler. Born on March 1, 1942 in Hope Bay Jamaica, West Indies. Delores was the daughter of the late Cyril Norman and Muriel Norman. She grew up with four brothers; Trevor Norman, Derrick Norman, Roy Norman and the late Vaughn Norman. Delores was a member of Kingsway Christian Center, formerly Pentecostal Holyness Church for over 25 years of which she served on Senior Choir and Prayer Ministry. Mrs. Tinkler was employed at St. Jospehs Medical Center where she worked as a Nursing Assistant and Monitored Technician. She was employed there for over 30 years where she gain several close friends and touched the lives of many people. Delores often enjoyed spending quality time with her family, reading her bible, sewing, singing and doing crosswords puzzles. In addition to her husband, daughters and brothers she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Viewing at the Howell Funeral Home, 4600 Liberty Heights Ave. on Thursday, January 23, 2003 from 3 to 7 P.M. Funeral Service on Friday, January 24, 2003 at 11 A.M.
