Adams Jr., Clarence J.

MR. CLARENCE J. ADAMS, JR., 79, of 1575 N. Forest Avenue, Hartwell, GA., died Sunday, January 12, 2003, at Hart County Hospital. Born in Springfield, MO., he was the son of the late Clarence J. Adams, Sr. and Pearl Mitchum Adams. He was a retired carpenter. He was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran, served in China-Burma-India and received the Bronze Star. His survivors include: Wife: Dorothy Grimm Adams, Daughter: Sandra Stubbs of AZ, Sons: Steve Adams of Pocahontas, AR and Stanley Adams of Shawnee, KA, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister. Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association, 1925 Century Blvd., Suite 10, Atlanta, Georgia 30345. Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all local arrangements.
