Jim Rouse fund lending $100,000 to tech business

The Jim Rouse Entrepreneurial Fund, a not-for-profit organization that helps support new and emerging Howard County businesses, ended last year by approving a $100,000 loan to Assured Decisions, an information technology business.

The Columbia firm develops and secures information systems for government agencies and, more recently, for corporations. To help Assured Decisions increase its staff, the Rouse fund provided the company with funds to hire two more engineers.
