Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northern District

Armed robbery: Police were seeking a man who shoved a woman, 54, as she removed items from her car in the 3900 block of Juniper Road in the Guilford neighborhood about 6 p.m. Saturday, then pulled a knife and robbed her of her purse containing $150, a handheld computer and a cellular phone.

Northeastern District

Robbery/shooting: After leaving a convenience store in the 4500 block of Mainfield Ave. about 8:45 p.m. Saturday, a man was stopped by two men and robbed at gunpoint of $20 and a cellular phone. When the victim turned and was walking away, he was shot in the left leg. The victim was released after treatment at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Western District

Shooting: Police were seeking a man who shot another man in the face and right leg about 6:35 p.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of W. Lexington St. The victim was admitted to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in serious condition.

Shooting: About 7:35 p.m. Saturday, a 37-year-old man was walking near his home in the 2700 block of Harlem Ave. when he heard at least one gunshot and felt a pain in his neck. From his house, the man dialed 911. He was taken by ambulance to Shock Trauma, where he was treated and released.

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: A leather coat, golf clubs and tools - all valued at $1,800 - were stolen Saturday from a 2001 Toyota parked in the first block of W. Montgomery St.

Southeastern District

Burglary/car stolen: Someone entered a house in the 1200 block of S. Linwood Ave. on Saturday and stole $350 and a set of keys, then drove off in the owner's gray 2002 BMW with tags KFG 712.

Burglary: Three handguns, a rifle and tools - all valued at $1,800 - were stolen Saturday from a house in the 800 block of S. Eaton St.

Baltimore County

Wilkens Precinct

Kidnaping/robbery/arrest: A man, 23, was being held in the county detention center on $250,000 bond after being charged with kidnapping a woman Friday night and removing more than $300 from her bank account at various ATMs. About 9 p.m., the woman, 20, was leaving Royal Farms in the 4300 block of Washington Blvd. when a man forced himself into her car and ordered her to drive. At various nearby ATMs, the man forced the woman to remove more than $300 before he got out in the 4600 block of Washington Blvd. The woman returned to the store and called police, who traced a suspect to a room at Tim's Motel in the 4400 block of Washington Blvd., where he was arrested. Charged with kidnapping and robbery was Jose Pava Castillo, of no fixed address.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A laptop computer and cash were stolen Saturday from an apartment in the first block of E. Padonia Road.

Garrison Precinct

Robbery: A man, 33, was walking along Patterson Avenue near Marott Drive about 6 p.m. Saturday when three men, one with a knife, stepped from a car and robbed him of five DVDs, several pieces of jewelry and $8.
