The 12th-ranked Woodlawn girls built a big lead but then had to hold on for a 55-51 victory over Dunbar at yesterday's Basketball Academy Tournament at Coppin State.

The Warriors had a chance to put the game away when Brittany Taylor was fouled with 38 seconds left, but she missed both free throws.

The Warriors' Milan Heard, fouled with 14 seconds to go, made two free throws to seal it.
