Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northeastern District

Robbery: A driver for Jimmy's Cab was robbed of $117 by a male passenger whom he had picked up on Joppa Road in Baltimore County shortly before 7 p.m. Wednesday and driven to the 6800 block of Laurelton Ave. The robber placed an unknown object to the driver's neck.

Burglary: Cash, video games and accessories - all valued at more than $1,000 - were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 4400 block of Walther Blvd.

Southeastern District

Robbery: A woman, 68, was walking in the 3400 block of Eastern Ave. about 2 p.m. Wednesday after cashing a check at a bank when a man grabbed her around the neck and stole her purse containing the money.

Robbery: A man, 29, was walking in the 200 block of S. Broadway about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday when a gunman robbed him of more than $800.

Northern District

Robbery: A woman, 33, was about to enter her home in the first block of E. 26th St. about 6 a.m. Wednesday when a man struck her and took her backpack containing $100, credit cards and a cell phone.

Southwestern District

Robbery: A boy, 14, was walking in the 200 block of S. Augusta Ave. about 7 p.m. Wednesday when a man armed with a knife robbed him of $30.

Robbery: A woman was removing items from her car and taking them into her house in the 4300 block of Rokeby Road about 6 p.m. Wednesday when a man armed with a screwdriver robbed her of $11.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A woman, 44, was walking on Loch Raven Boulevard near Taylor Avenue about 10 p.m. Wednesday when a man stole her purse.

Burglary: Twenty DVDs, a DVD player, camera and laptop computer - all valued at $3,600 - were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 200 block of Gaywood Road.

Cockeysville Precinct

Robbery: A gunman robbed Timonium Nail Care in the first block of Scott Adam Road of $100 about 7:25 p.m. Wednesday.

Garrison Precinct

Stolen vehicle: A blue 1994 Ford Probe with tags HYA 142 was stolen Wednesday in the first block of Phlox Circle.

Stolen vehicle: A burgundy 1999 Dodge Caravan with tags M772473 was stolen Wednesday in the first block of Ewing Drive.
