Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: A combination television-radio-auto headrest valued at $1,000 and a coat valued at $300 were stolen Saturday from a 1996 Ford parked in the 2400 block of Nevada St.

Northern District

Stolen vehicle: A blue 1994 Jeep Cherokee with tags ADP 836 was stolen Saturday in the 4300 block of Rugby Road.

Robbery: Nicholas Haddaway, 22, was walking in the 200 block of W. 29th St. about 4 p.m. Saturday when a man wielding a knife stepped from a black, four-door Neon and demanded money. Haddaway handed over $11, and the robber drove away.

Southwestern District

Shooting: Several men were standing in the 300 block of S. Bentalou St. about noon Saturday when they spotted a gunman approaching from a nearby alley. As the men began to scatter, the gunman yelled, "Don't nobody run!" He then fired at least one shot, hitting Baron Dickey, 24, in the lower back. Dickey was released after treatment at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Southeastern District

Theft from vehicle: A flip-phone valued at more than $200 was stolen Saturday from a 1998 Ford parked in the 2000 block of Aliceanna St.

Home invasion try: A man posing as a pizza deliveryman tried to enter a house in the 100 block of N. Luzerne Ave. about 6 p.m. Saturday, but was refused when the occupant became suspicious. As the two men argued, the "deliveryman" pulled a handgun and was about to enter when the occupant shut the door and called police.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery/arrests: Three people were arrested late Friday and charged with robbing McDonald's in the 7900 block of Rossville Blvd. of an undisclosed sum of money. Two male robbers, one with a handgun and the other a stun gun, had fled the restaurant about 11 p.m. -- but their Mercury Sable was followed briefly by a motorist who gave the tag numbers to police. The tags were traced to a house in the 1700 block of Chilton St. in Northeast Baltimore, where county police arrested an adult and a juvenile in the car and another juvenile in a house. Daniel Jefferson, 31, of the first block of S. Schroeder St. was charged with armed robbery and held on $150,000 bond.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Electronics valued at $4,000 were stolen Saturday from a house in the 9700 block of Magledt Road by someone who entered through a rear sliding glass door.

North Point Precinct

Counterfeit money: Someone passed a counterfeit $20 bill at Cactus Willie's Steak Buffet in the 7900 block of Eastern Blvd. on Saturday night. The bogus bill was turned over to a U.S. Secret Service agent.
