Three of five Honda vehicles reported stolen from within a two-mile radius of Long Reach on Dec. 23 were recovered by Friday, Howard County police said.

Honda Accords were taken from the 5500 block of Phelps Luck Drive, the 6000 block of Majors Lane and the 8900 block of Tamar Drive. A Honda Civic was taken from the 8600 block of Hayshed Lane. Another Honda was taken from the 8500 block of Black Star Circle.

Sherry Llewellyn, a police spokeswoman, said the auto-theft division is investigating. She said the thefts appear to be related. The three recovered cars were found in Howard County.

Throughout Howard County and in other areas, "Hondas are the most commonly stolen vehicle," Llewellyn said.

Of the vehicles reported stolen last year, 18 percent were Hondas, she said.

An airbag and a car radio were stolen from the Honda Civic, said David Abernathy, the car's owner.
