Baltimore City

Southern District

Robbery try/arrest: Officer James Cardarella was in plainclothes and driving an unmarked car in the 1300 block of E. Patapsco Ave. about 9:30 a.m. yesterday when he spotted a man attempting to rob a woman who had been shoved to the ground. Arrested and charged with assault and attempted unarmed robbery was David S. Snyder, 37, of the 3800 block of St. Margaret St.

Burglary: Nearly 100 cartons of assorted brands of cigarettes and cash were stolen overnight Wednesday from Yong's Liquors in the 1900 block of W. Lombard St. by someone who entered through a window after disabling the burglar alarm. The loss, including the cigarettes, was estimated at nearly $8,300.

Burglary: A cellular phone, cordless phone and DVD player - all valued at $229 - were stolen yesterday from a house in the 800 block of Woodward St. by someone who entered through a basement window.

Theft: A Radio Flyer wagon valued at $175 was stolen Wednesday by someone who signed the receipt when it was delivered to a house in the first block of W. Churchill St.

Robbery: Police were seeking a male passenger who robbed a driver for County Cab Co. of $120 at gunpoint in the 2300 block of W. Patapsco Ave. about 4:20 a.m. Wednesday.

Robbery: A woman, 23, was walking in the first block of E. Cross St. about 12:25 a.m. Wednesday when a man grabbed her around the neck and snatched a cellular phone from her grasp.

Northern District

Burglary: Tools and a battery charger - all valued at nearly $3,000 - were stolen Wednesday from a garage in the 3600 block of Old York Road.

Southeastern District

Rape: A woman, 31, told police she was raped early Tuesday by a man who picked her up in the 1800 block of Dundalk Ave. and drove her in a Plymouth van to the 6800 block of Fait Ave.

Burglary: Light fixtures, fans and furniture - all valued at $479 - were stolen Wednesday from a house under renovation in the 2300 block of E. Baltimore St.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Robbery/arrests: Four people were arrested early Wednesday and charged with the home-invasion robbery at a New Year's party in the 8300 block of Still Meadow Road. The suspects had been asked to leave the party, and allegedly returned and forced their way into the house. One party-goer was assaulted, and a camcorder was stolen. The suspects were arrested in the area minutes later. Charged with robbery, burglary and assault were Jacqueline Bosley, 21, of the 4200 block of Necker Ave.; William Anderson, 18, of the 4600 block of Forge Road; William Leyrer, 21, of the 300 block of Imla Ave.; and Ryan Einschutz, 23, of the 4200 block of Soth Ave. The injured guest was treated at Franklin Square Hospital Center for a face injury and released.

Essex Precinct

Robbery: A gunman robbed Allno Enterprises in the 1700 block of Eastern Ave. of more than $200 about 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A computer and a cordless telephone were stolen from an apartment in the 7700 block of Greenview Terrace between Dec. 20 and Wednesday.

Garrison Precinct

Stolen vehicle: A blue 1993 Ford Ranger pickup truck with Pennsylvania tags YLS 2458 was stolen Wednesday in the 10900 block of Reisterstown Road.
