On Wednesday, December 25, 2002, CWO3 SIDNEY BERNSTEIN (USN ret.) Commissioned Warrend Officer, husband of Irene O. Bernstein (nee Cooper), father of Anne Grott Bernstein, Marlene Oshry, Jules Bernstein, and the late Stanley Bernstein, father-in-law of Samuel Oshry and Bertha Bernstein, step-father of David and Warren Taylor and the late Patricia Taylor Frost, brother of Howard Bernstein, Evelyn Bihoff, and the late Virginia Eisenberg, loving grandfather of Dan Taglienti, Dr. Stacy Yale Oshry, Dr. Evan Oshry, Alex and Grant Bernstein. Also survived by three loving great-grandchildren. Funeral services and interment will be held at the Bnai Israel Congregation Cemetery, 3107 Southern Avenue, on Friday December 27th at 12 noon.
