She was born in Baltimore, MD. She moved to Miami in 1967 and to Winter Springs in 2001. In Miami, she was a long time employee of the Dade County Public Schools and volunteered as a reader for The Lighthouse for the Blind. She was active with the Tai Chi club of Miami. She is survived by and shared 47 years of marriage with Sidney J. Fox, two beloved sons and daughters-in-law, Marshall and Pat Fox of Maitland and Sheldon and Cindy Fox of Oviedo, three sisters, Eileen Alsruhe, Betty Auld, and Gwen Sporrer all of Baltimore, Maryland. She was blessed with five grandchildren, Chenoa, and Brandon Fox and Shana, Jordan, and Lainey Fox. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date in January.
