On December 5, 2002, CARMELLA D.; beloved daughter of Mal W., Sr. and Jean Byrd; loving sister of Donna Eley, Mal Byrd, Jr. and Christina Jefferies; cherished granddaughter of Nora Byrd. Also survived by two nieces, four nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends will gather at the Fort Meade Visitors Center, Reese Road at Route 175, on Monday at 1:30 P.M. and will then proceed to the posts Main Chapel where the service will begin at 2 P.M.
