Barr, Rosa F.

ROSA F. BARR, 89, of Baltimore, MD, formerly of Hampshire and Hardy Counties, WV, died Thursday, November 21, 2002 at the HCR Manor Care in Rossville, MD, after being admitted only six days previous. Born on August 6, 1913 at Old Fields, WV, she was a daughter of the late Edgar J. Crites and Effie (Fleming) Biser. Mrs. Barr was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Barr was a homemaker and attended the Church of Christ in Baltimore. Surviving are two sons, John W. Barr of Baltimore and Allen D. Barr, Sr. and his wife Eleanor of Stephens City, VA four grandchildren, Leah Lizabeth Seay, Donna D. Barr, Michelle A. Bock and Allen D. Barr, Jr.; and three great-grandchildren, Brandy Bock, and Cody and Cierra Barra. Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Burlington Chapel, on Saturday from 4 to 8 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Burlington Chapel, on Sunday at 2:00 PM with Pastor Lancaster officiating. Interment will be in the Bethel Cemetery, Old Fields, WV. On November 20, 2002, MARY VIRGINIA Ginna BARRY (nee Ganzhorn) beloved wife of Alfred W. Barry Jr., and the late Owen J. Rouse Sr., devoted mother of Mary Patricia Rouse of Freeville, NY, Chip Rouse, Owen J. Rouse Jr., and Mary Lee Scott, loving stepmother of Alfred W. Barry III, John K. Barry, Suzanne C. Barry of Malvern, PA, and Nancy K. Barry of Decorah, IA, loving grandmother of Catherine, Emily, Alice, Caroline and Patrick Barry and Bryan Read.
