Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Assault: Police were seeking a man who they say threatened to shoot an employee of the Salvation Army Family Thrift Store in the 2700 block of W. Patapsco Ave. yesterday. The incident occurred about 10:35 a.m. at the drive-through drop-off window, where the employee asked the man to return at 11 a.m. with his clothing donation. The man then displayed a handgun and said, "OK, I'll just put a bullet in your head," before driving away in a 1986 Ford pickup truck.

Arrests: In unrelated incidents yesterday, two men were arrested when they attempted to leave Safeway in the 1200 block of W. Pratt St. without paying for food items. Charged with stealing hams valued at $78 was a 49-year-old man. Charged with stealing meats and other items was a 47-year-old.

Theft from vehicle: A video camera, 35 mm camera with a 200 mm lens, a jacket and a cellular phone - all valued at more than $5,100 - were stolen between Saturday night and yesterday morning from a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier parked in the 600 block of Portland St.

Theft from vehicle: Stereo equipment, a paintball gun and compact discs were stolen yesterday from a 1995 Volkswagen parked in the 3900 block of Ninth St. in Brooklyn Ave.

Southeastern District

Robbery: A man, 23, was walking in the 200 block of S. Broadway about 3 a.m. Saturday when he was attacked by a man and a female accomplice who robbed him of his wallet, cash and a cellular phone - all valued at more than $200.

Robbery: A man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed Eddie's Meat Market in the 100 block of S. Clinton St. of an undisclosed sum of money about 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Western District

Robbery: Police were seeking the driver of a 1988 Isuzu pickup who robbed a woman of $12 Friday night after giving her a ride from the 1600 block of Bruce Court to the 1900 block of Presbury St.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Robbery: A 14-year-old boy was walking along Bayner Road near South Marlyn Avenue about 3:30 p.m. Saturday when two other youths knocked him to the ground and robbed him of his compact disc player.

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: A deliveryman for Papa John's Pizza in the 7400 block of Belair Road was in the first block of Canoga Place about 12:10 a.m. Saturday when two men, one armed with a length of wood, knocked him to the ground and took $50.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered an apartment in the first block of Dowling Circle through a patio door over the weekend after disconnecting an alarm, entered a bedroom and stole $100, a 27-inch television, a DVD player, video games and DVD movies.
