BARRANTE, Lt. Col. Henry A. On Thursday, October 24, 2002, LT. COL. HENRY A. BARRANTE, died of a massive heart attack. He served as an infantry officer in Euroope and Korea and received many awards including the silver star. Before he became ill with Parkinson a s he was active in Boumi Shrine Temple where he served as Commander of Legion of Honor, Col. of the Units and Temple Director. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley (Mason)Barrante, a daughter, Carolyn Washburn, son-in-law Eric Washburn, a grandson Sean Washburn of Utah, grand-daughter Nicole Dunn and her husband Peter and twin great-grandsons of South America, sisters Jo Humalawin of Ohio, Ann Fikger Girard of PA and Peggy Johnson of Lake City, PA and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Single Funeral Home, P. A. , 1 Second avenue S. W. (at Crain highway)Glen Burnie, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P. M. on Sunday. The Funeral Ceremony will be held on Monday at 1 P. M. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment Louden Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those so wishing may make donations to Shriners Hospital, c/o Boumi Temple, 5050 King avenue, P. O. BRODIE, Georgene Ann On October 24, 2002, GEORGENE ANN BRODIE (nee Gonzales). Beloved wife of M. J. Brodie; loving mother of Kimberly Brodie-Hopkins and Ellen Brodie Jarrett; devoted grandmother of Matthew and Melissa Hopkins and Austin and Andrew Jarrett; sister of Margaret Gonzales Steele, Robert T.
