They're graceful, agile and mighty athletes. And they're showing off their horse power today through Sunday at the Washington International Horse Show at the MCI Center.
Horses will compete in barrel-racing, high-jump, obstacle-running, chariot-racing and more, and they'll show off their maneuvers in trick-riding and at musical freestyle dressage exhibitions.
Visitors can get hands-on with free pony rides and learn all about horses.
In addition to the equine events, visitors can watch a "Challenge of Champions" bull-riding competition with top-ranked professional bull-riders. And visitors can catch terrier races with pint-sized dogs zooming over hurdles.
