Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northwestern District

Stabbing: A man, 51, was recovering at Sinai Hospital after being stabbed in the stomach by an unknown assailant in the 4600 block of Reisterstown Road about 9 a.m. yesterday.

Eastern District

Shooting: A man was walking in the 1800 block of E. North Ave. about 1 p.m. yesterday when an unknown gunman shot him in the left hip and right chest. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Burglary: More than $800 was stolen Saturday from a house in the 1200 block of N. Curley St. by someone who entered through a window.

Southwestern District

Assault: An 18-year-old man was walking in the 3300 block of Edmondson Ave. about 11 a.m. yesterday when he was attacked by several youths, one of whom stabbed him in the head with a sharp object. He was treated at Bon Secours Hospital.

Burglary: After disarming the burglar alarm of a house in the 700 block of Brookwood Road on Saturday, someone entered through a door and stole $12 and a gold money clip, on which was engraved a cursive letter D.

Western District

Carjacking/robbery: Police were seeking two men and a woman in a carjacking early Saturday. After the male driver had given a woman a ride from Edmondson Avenue to the 2400 block of Winchester St., two men forced him from his car at gunpoint then robbed him of $260. The trio fled in the 2001 Mazda Tribute, with tags M616473.

Shooting: Charles Thomas Davis, 27, was in the 400 block of Watty Court about 12:30 a.m. yesterday when someone shot him in the chest. He was listed in critical condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Southern District

Theft: A video camera, briefcase, two tape recorders and 12 videotapes -- all valued at $1,600 -- were stolen yesterday from a 1999 Ford pickup truck parked in the 1200 block of Race St., while the owner was attending the Ravens football game.

Northern District

Robbery try: After a man ordered a sandwich at the Charles Restaurant in the 2500 block of St. Paul St. about 8 p.m. Saturday and handed the owner $5, he pulled a gun and demanded money. Rather than comply, the owner, 43, told the man, "Go to hell and get out of here!" The gunman fled with no money.

Burglary: Lawn-care equipment and a vacuum -- all valued at $250 -- were stolen Saturday from a house in the 5700 block of Cross Country Blvd.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Robbery: Two boys, both 15, were walking in the 700 block of High Villa Road about 6:45 p.m. Saturday when two older males, one with a knife, robbed one of them of $6.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: A 2000 Honda all-terrain vehicle valued at $4,000 was stolen Saturday from the yard of a house in the 1200 block of 63rd St. by someone who cut a chain connecting it to a cinder block.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Three kegs of beer valued at $300 were stolen Saturday from Towson Golf & Country Club in the 12800 block of Stone Hill Road.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: A circular saw valued at $50 was stolen Saturday from a shed in the 4200 block of Old Milford Mill Road.

Burglary: Someone stole a bicycle valued at $300 from a garage in the 100 block of St. Thomas Lane on Saturday.

Stolen vehicle: A 1999 Chevrolet Lumina with tags KWS 641 was stolen Saturday in the first block of Stonemark Court.

Wilkens Precinct

Robbery: A man, 20, was walking in the 700 block of Edmondson Ave. about 1 a.m. Saturday when another man asked him for a light, then pulled a handgun and robbed him of $2 and his coat.
