Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Burglary: A microwave oven, dishwasher, sink, faucets and a toilet - all valued at $1,300 - were stolen Monday from a house under renovation in the 100 block of E. Cross St.

Southeastern District

Burglary: Video games and accessories, and several pieces of jewelry - all valued at nearly $1,600 - were stolen Monday from a house in the 6200 block of Brown Ave. by someone who entered through a bedroom window.

Stolen vehicle: A 1997 Ford Explorer with tags M352887 was stolen Monday in the 400 block of N. Linwood Ave.

Stolen vehicle: A red Hyundai Accent with tags TKV 229 was stolen Monday in the 3000 block of Pulaski Highway.

Eastern District

Theft: Several gold necklaces valued at nearly $800 were stolen Monday from an apartment in the 1600 block of E. Madison St.

Burglary: Someone broke into the office of Realty One in the 200 block of N. Madeira St. on Monday and stole appliances valued at $1,000.

Theft: A backpack containing a cell phone, books and other items - all valued at $273 - was stolen Monday from a countertop at Johns Hopkins Hospital in the 600 block of N. Wolfe St.

Northern District

Assault: A man, 21, was walking in the 3600 block of Greenway about 9 p.m. Monday when he was attacked by several other males who knocked him to the ground and attempted to rob him. The victim had minor injuries and refused treatment.

Theft/arrest: Charles Bandele, a security officer at Rite Aid in the 3200 block of Greenmount Ave. was attempting to arrest a shoplifter Monday when the suspect assaulted him while trying to flee. City police aided in detaining the man. Charged with assault and theft of two digital thermometers was Troy Jones, 29, of the 700 block of Lennox St.

Stolen vehicle: A 2003 Jeep Liberty with tags M923766 was stolen Saturday in the 3000 block of N. Calvert St. The theft was reported Monday.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Burglary: While the occupants of an apartment in the 7700 block of Greenview Terrace were sleeping Monday night, someone entered and stole a DVD player, video camera and 10 DVDs - all valued at $1,300.

Woodlawn Precinct

Burglary: Two bicycles and several garden tools were stolen Monday from a shed in the 3400 block of Cardinal Court.

Garrison Precinct

Stolen vehicle: A green 1998 Dodge Stratus with tags KTW 803 was stolen Monday in the first block of Straw Hat Road.
