Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Central District

Shooting: A 17-year-old male was treated and released from University of Maryland Medical Center on Sunday after a man wearing a black wig shot a finger on his left hand just before 6 p.m. Sunday. The youth had been walking in an alley in the 1400 block of Division St.

Stolen auto: A white, four-door 1993 Plymouth Sundance with Virginia tags YHK 6336 was stolen Thursday or Friday from the parking lot of a Maryland Institute dormitory in the 100 block of McMechen St. Police said the vehicle was driven through a fence surrounding the lot.

Break-in/arrest: Officers responding to a report of an auto theft in progress Sunday afternoon arrested a juvenile suspect who broke into a home in the 1100 block of Brentwood Ave. while trying to elude capture.

Southeastern District

Robbery: Two juveniles robbed a 14-year-old boy of $80 in the 400 block of S. Ann St. about 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Theft from vehicle: A snowball machine, toolbox, generator and cash were stolen from a trailer parked in the 1400 block of Bank St. between 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Sunday. The loss was estimated at $3,300.

Stolen auto: A gray, four-door 1990 Dodge with Maryland tags KJX 969 was taken from the 300 block of Herring Court between 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday.

Western District

Stolen auto: A woman told police that her ex-boyfriend drove away in her silver 2002 Mitsubishi Mirage from the 2400 block of N. Warwick Ave. early Sunday after they had an argument.

Southwestern District

Stolen auto: A red, four-door 1999 Buick with Maryland tags GKG 089 was stolen from the 300 block of Edsdale Road between 11 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Sunday.

Stolen auto: A Burgundy, four-door 1996 Honda with Maryland tags GBB 911, was reported stolen from the 900 block of Allendale St. at 12:05 a.m. Sunday.

Northern District

Arson: Two juveniles were arrested after allegedly setting fire to a 1985 Chevrolet van in the 800 block of Belgian Ave. about 10 a.m. Sunday.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Armed robbery: A man snatched $20 from a 46-year-old man who was preparing to make a purchase at Sherwood Market in the 6300 block of Sherwood Road about 4:45 p.m. Sunday. When the victim confronted him, the thief showed a semiautomatic handgun.

Essex Precinct

Thief identified: Police have a known suspect in the theft of a portable cable nailer and metal saw from a building in the 200 block of Wagners Lane between 4 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday. Police found the suspect's identification card at the scene.
