New positions

Giannattasio takes post with Maryland Institute

Maryland Institute College of Art has appointed Cheryl Giannattasio as media relations specialist. She is responsible for working with local and national media on all college events, seminars and exhibits. A graduate of LaSalle University, the Shrewsbury, Pa., resident was formerly with the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts.


Runge, Stevens, Rodrigues join McLean, Koehler firm

McLean, Koehler, Sparks & Hammond said Andrew J. Runge, a business valuation, claims and damages specialist; Eileen M. Stevens, senior accountant; and Lance M. Rodrigues, staff accountant, have joined the staff of the Towson-based regional accounting and business consulting firm.

Runge will lead the firm's insurance services consulting practice as well as work with the financial investigations team. The Westminster resident, a certified public accountant and fraud examiner, received his M.B.A. from Claremont Graduate School and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Stevens, a graduate of Towson University, will prepare and review financial statements for compilation and audit, and prepare year-end tax projections and returns. A resident of Sparks, she is a member of several professional organizations, including the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and Executive Women's Golf Association of Baltimore.

Rodrigues, a Frederick resident, is a CPA and received his degree from Hawaii Pacific University. An officer in the U.S. Naval Reserve, he is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Meinsler is Ginger Cove director of social services

Ginger Cove named Sara E. Meinsler director of social services for the Annapolis life-care and retirement community. She is responsible for providing the psychosocial needs and therapeutic activities of residents. Meinsler has a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Maryland and formerly was the residents' services coordinator with Oak Crest Village.

Hopkins Children's Center names Collins media chief

Johns Hopkins Children's Center appointed Jessica Collins senior media relations representative. She will report on faculty research and work with reporters on story development in basic science and clinical research. A graduate of Boston University, she was the media relations officer at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.

Reisterstown Road Plaza's general manager is Parks

Continental Realty Corp. selected Bill Parks as general manager of Reisterstown Road Plaza. He is responsible for lease administration and daily property operations, including supervision of security, maintenance and administrative personnel. Parks is a former director of operations at the Owings Mills Mall and, before that, the Hunt Valley Mall.
