Last week: Johns Hopkins defeated Carnegie Mellon, 28-7; Gettysburg defeated Averett (Va.) College, 45-10.

Outlook: Hopkins will be out to establish a Centennial Conference record of 12 straight victories in league openers tonight. Hopkins received 24 points (No. 41 in nation) in this week's AFCA Division III poll. Hopkins senior Kevin Johnson has moved into 14th place on the school's all-time rushing list with 1,201 yards. Gettysburg features Nathan Smith, who returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown and a punt 63 yards for a TD last week vs. Averett.
