The crime report is a sampling of crimes in Howard County compiled from police. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-313- 3700.

East Columbia

Bush Ranger Path: 6700 block, Kings Contrivance. A shotgun was stolen from a house Sept. 24.

Tamar Drive: 8700 block, Long Reach. A man was assaulted and robbed of his wallet and cellular telephone by a masked man Sept. 24.

Black Star Circle: 8500 block, Long Reach. Someone entered a home and stole 30 digital video discs Sept. 24.

Major's Lane: 6000 block, Long Reach. Someone stole a television from a home Sept. 25.

Minstrel Way: 7100 block, Owen Brown. A man entered a Subway shop armed with a gun Thursday and robbed the store of cash.

West Columbia

Hesperus Drive: 5100 block, Harper's Choice. Someone stole a wallet from a home Sept. 23.

Ellicott City/Elkridge

Warrens Way: 6600 block, Elkridge. A power saw was stolen from a garage between Sept. 1 and 22.

N. Laurel/Savage/Jessup

Waterloo Road: 6500 block, Jessup. A man armed with a gun robbed a Food Lion store of a large amount of cash Sunday.
