Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Knife attack: Walter McKenzie, 18, of the 500 block of Arsan Ave. was arguing with another man in the 500 block of Maude Ave. about 6 a.m. yesterday when the other man pulled a knife and cut him in the neck and throat. McKenzie was reported in serious condition last night at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Stolen vehicle: A black, four-door 1999 Hyundai with Virginia tag YEB 4960 was stolen Saturday in the first block of W. Lee St.

Stolen vehicle: A green 1998 Dodge van with tags 973193M was stolen yesterday in the 2500 block of Frank Ave.

Theft from vehicle: A laptop computer valued at $3,000 was stolen during the weekend from a 1996 Saab parked in the 500 block of S. Hanover St.

Northwestern District

Stolen vehicle: A 1998 Acura with tags 565 BKS was stolen yesterday in the 2600 block of W. Forest Park Ave.

Robbery: Police were seeking a 1999 Ford Explorer with tags M892556 that was taken in a robbery about 9:30 a.m. Friday in the 4500 block of N. Rogers Ave. The owner, a 45 year-old-man, was standing outside the vehicle when another man robbed him of his keys and drove off in the sport utility vehicle.

Stolen vehicle: A 1996 Chrysler Concord with tags FHR 627 was stolen yesterday in the 6800 block of Park Heights Ave.

Burglary: Someone entered a vacant apartment in the 3900 block of Bonner Road through a basement door during the weekend and stole a clothes washer and dryer.

Southwestern District

Stolen vehicle: A gray, four-door 1994 Oldsmobile with Maryland National Guard tags NG 1784 was stolen Saturday in the 4600 block of Edmondson Ave.

Theft: Power and hand tools and paint supplies - all valued at nearly $1,200 - were stolen yesterday from a house under renovation in the 2200 block of Poplar Grove St.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Assault/arrest: A man, 35, was arrested Friday night and charged with first- and second-degree assault after brandishing a handgun and threatening to shoot his wife during an argument in their home in the 1200 block of Dalton Road. The woman fled uninjured and called police, who arrested the man at the scene.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 1800 block of White Oak Ave. through a bedroom window during the weekend and stole video games valued at $300.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: An air-compressor valued at $2,500 was stolen during the weekend from a garage in the 13100 block of Fork Road.

Garrison Precinct

Stolen vehicle: A 1997 Polaris all-terrain vehicle was stolen Saturday in the 9800 block of Tolworth Circle.

North Point Precinct

Theft: Power and hand tools and electronic equipment - all valued at $2,000 - were stolen Saturday from a 1995 Dodge van parked in the 4000 block of North Point Blvd.

Counterfeit money: A counterfeit $20 bill was discovered Saturday by a cashier at East Point Movies X in the 7900 block of Eastern Blvd. and was turned over to the U.S. Secret Service.

Woodlawn Precinct

Burglary: Two mountain bicycles, valued together at more than $300, were stolen between Sept. 24 and Saturday from a shed in the 10700 block of Furman Lane.
