Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Robbery/auto theft: Police were seeking three men who forced Justin Singh, 22, a deliveryman for Spartan Pizzeria on Eastern Avenue, into an alley in the 1800 block of Lamley St. about 10 p.m. Tuesday while he was delivering food to a nearby dwelling and robbed him of an undisclosed sum of money. Police said two other men apparently not involved in the robbery stole Singh's 1992 black Toyota Camry with tags HVN 536, parked nearby.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 2000 block of Bank St. on Wednesday and stole power tools valued at $1,670.

Robbery: A man implying he was armed with a handgun robbed Mi Pais grocery in the 2100 block of Eastern Ave. of $180 and a soft drink about 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Southwestern District

Robbery: About 10 p.m. Tuesday, a gunman forced his way into an apartment in the first block of S. Beechfield Ave. and demanded money from two women, one of them pregnant. Finding none, the man fled with video games, a DVD player and DVD movies.

Burglary: Two men entered an apartment in the 4400 block of Old Frederick Road about 5 p.m. Wednesday by using a pogo stick to force open a door and stole a coat and a radio. The owner confronted the men carrying his property outside, but declined to challenge them, fearing injury.

Northern District

Arrest: A man, 46, from the 4900 block of Frederick Ave. was arrested Wednesday when he tried to leave Rite Aid in the 3100 block of Greenmount Ave. without paying for two cartons of cigarettes..

Burglary: A videocassette recorder and cash were stolen Wednesday from an apartment in the 3100 block of N. Calvert St. by someone who entered through a second-floor window. The loss totaled $250.

Eastern District

Burglary: More than 100 cartons of cigarettes - all valued at $4,440 - were reported stolen Wednesday from Pat's Carryout in the 1400 block of N. Gay St.

Central District

Theft from vehicle: Power tools, a digital camera and several compact discs - all valued at $2,500 - were stolen Sept. 18 from a Ford pickup truck parked in the 100 block of Market Place. The theft was reported Wednesday.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: A .25-caliber Beretta handgun, 50 rounds of ammunition and $200 cash were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 2700 block of Burridge Road.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A videocassette recorder valued at $100 and a bed sheet were stolen Wednesday from an apartment in the 6900 block of Lachlan Circle.- Richard Irwin
