An unidentified man was found shot early yesterday in a car in a neighborhood near the city's western border, and died about 30 minutes later at Maryland Shock Trauma Center, police said.

Officers investigating a reported shooting in the 4800 block of Lindsay Road in West Hills found the victim seated about 1:35 a.m. at the steering wheel and bleeding from a wound to his upper body.

Police also released the identities of two men who were fatally shot in separate incidents Friday in Northwest Baltimore.

One victim, Michael Walker, 20, of the 4000 block of Lewiston Ave. was found lying in the street in the 5200 block of Cuthbert Ave. in Pimlico shortly before midnight, and died about 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Sinai Hospital.

The other, Carlos Smith, 29, of the 3800 block of Granada Ave. was killed Friday afternoon in the 4400 block of Reisterstown Road.

No arrest has been made in any of the incidents, and police ask anyone with information about any of the three slayings to call 410-396-2100.
