Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Stabbing/arrest: A man accused of stabbing his girlfriend with a knife and trying to cut her with a broken chain saw during an argument Sunday night in their home in the 3800 block of Ninth St. in Brooklyn was arrested a short time later. Angela Hooks, 30, was in stable condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Nathan S. Winslow Jr., 53, was charged with attempted murder, first-degree assault and assault with a deadly weapon.

Western District

Shooting: David Hollins, 70, a driver for Diamond Cab, was in the 1900 block of Baker St. about 3:30 a.m. Sunday when he was shot in the back during a robbery attempt. He was in serious condition at Shock Trauma.

Northern District

Robbery: A woman, 67, was walking in the 2400 block of Brambleton Ave. about 8 p.m. Sunday when a man who implied that he had a handgun robbed her of $20.

Southeastern District

Burglary: Two air-conditioners, a TV, cabinets, two beds, a dishwasher and dresser were stolen during the weekend in the 200 block of N. Kenwood Ave.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Burglary/arrest: David Paul Dodd, 27, of the 1500 block of Chilworth Ave. was arrested early Sunday and charged with entering a house in the 400 block of Grovethorn Road and stealing $100. Dodd was being held on $100,000 bail.

North Point Precinct

Burglary: A mountain bicycle valued at $250 was stolen Sunday from a yard in the 1900 block of Wareham Road.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Coins valued at $100 were stolen Sunday from a house in the 200 block of High Falcon Road.
