Union Memorial names new chief of geriatric medicine

Dr. James P. Richardson, an Ellicott City resident, has been named chief of geriatric medicine at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore.

A fellow of the American Geriatrics Society, he received his medical degree from the University of Maryland and a master's degree in public health from the Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health.

Union Memorial is a member of MedStar Health, a not-for-profit community-based health care organization based in Columbia.
