Nfl Week 3

THREE PLAYERS TO WATCH

Giants QB Kerry Collins: After becoming the fourth NFL player to throw for more than 300 yards in five consecutive games, Collins (right) goes for six in a row against Seattle.

Saints RB Deuce McAllister: The second-year runner averaged 5.9 yards per carry against the Packers, and the Bears just lost DT Ted Washington.

Chiefs RB Priest Holmes: Last year's rushing champion goes against the Patriots' No. 2 rush defense. Holmes already has rushed for four touchdowns.

THE HONORS

Game of the week: Saints at Bears. The Bears are up to their old tricks and winning tight games, but the Saints may be for real with their punishing defense.

Dog of the week: Redskins at 49ers. This isn't the preseason for Steve Spurrier anymore.

Upset of the week: Saints over Bears. Chicago's defense is beat up; McAllister should have a big day.
