Diane Hart Moore, 55, homemaker, volunteer

Diane Hart Moore, a homemaker and hospital volunteer, died of cancer Sunday at her daughter's home in Copperas Cove, Texas. She was 55 and had lived in Conowingo for 24 years.

Born in Baltimore and raised in Middle River, the former Diane Hart was a 1964 graduate of Overlea High School. She then joined the Navy and was stationed in Pensacola, Fla.

She was a 20-year volunteer at the Perry Point Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Perryville, where she also was an employee in the canteen, beauty shop and gift shop.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove.

She is survived by her husband of five years, Douglass Moore of Conowingo; a daughter, Cheryl Cleland of Copperas Cove; her mother, Margaret Hart of Stewartstown, Pa.; a brother, Barry Hart of White Hall; and a granddaughter. Her previous marriages to Robert Cleland and Robert Bell ended in divorce.
